Lone-Star got Bone-Starred

Turns out FOX's hit show LoneStar was replaced by the TV series Lie To Me. But it was no lie we didn't see this coming. 2 episodes was the laughable running life for this series. Apparently the conspiracy story of a man living alternate lives ISN'T that interesting. Too bad too. It seemed it had all of the elements that make a good show. Attractive actors, interesting in depth conspiracy, violence, etc. It just goes to show you that taking what people like and slamming it together in a crock pot is...well...a CROCK! It doesn't work. There are other episodes of LoneStar that were never aired. There is no saying whether or not they will or will not be shown to the public. For now, they join the many failed TV shows in the "Land of the Lost." I hope this is at least a lesson to these network money guys. Stop making shitty shows...

  1. Wow. I geuss that Jon Voight doesn't draw the fans huh? what a shock! Good riddance to this series. Fox needs to go back to the drawing board. Perhaps bring yet another cooking show with Gordon Ramsey on the air!

  2. I saw previews for this before it came out and thought... so, "Catch Me If You Can" the show. except no Leo DeCap. and like what Mike said "It seemed it had all of the elements that make a good show. Attractive actors, interesting in depth conspiracy, violence, etc." We need more shows with ugly casts, 2 dimensional conflict, and friendliness. like Sesame Street without the puppets.

  3. yay FOX, for just putting out more terrible shows. Sure, you have Glee, and American Idol, and some other more popular shows (popular among the masses, not me) but that doesn't mean that you can just slack off on the rest of your programming. 2 episodes is terrible. Let's see, who gets fired over this one?

  6. I never watched Lone-Star and I didn't read or hear anything about it for sometime and I guessed it was a comedy about a bar or restaurant. Though I was way off with that guess it seems I didn't miss much. It had strong reviews but this type of show doesn't seem like it could be a hit on Fox. At least they didn't wait and knew when to cut their losses.
On a side note, I feel your pain Marvo. I had to type in oulathe last time.
